The instructions tell you what sizes to use and how to shrink them down to a very specific length. The rubber bands that drive the engine and make the car move are much wider than the others around 8 to 10 millimeters in width and look very heavy duty. **Q: does anyone know what type of car this is", or is close too?** A: I do not believe this car is suppose to be any specific Cabriolet (which is French for convertible). it is very complex and took me 60 to 70 hours to put together. It was very fulfilling to complete it with all of the moving and working parts - especially the fact that it runs. This kit is not for children.
