Great product once you set it up properly. I too was having issues getting windows to recognize it. I'd plug it in and nothing would happen. Was getting ready to return it when I discovered there are 2 types of Micro-USB cables. One can only be used to charge devices. The other can charge and send data. The first two cables that I tried did absolutely nothing. It was the third cable I tried that Windows made the noise of a new device and it connected! And now I'm successfully using it for a project.

Used it to control an old-school IBM terminal keyboard to a USB port (using Soarerโs Converter firmware). This controller works perfectly, and had it configured in a morning. Value is very good and I needed it without the headers soldered.
