If you absolutely need storage for these you will need to purchase separately. I have only used about 10, but no duds so far. Both sides are almost identical, so its hard to tell which side is up. I'm not 100% on this, but I think the way you tell is the side that is NOT flat is the bottom. I would recommend these to others! (No cake box, just discs placed in flimsy plastic wrap.) Out of the 100 discs I paid for, I had about 15 or 16 I could not use due to the packaging issue, so I was without 20 discs total. It's a sweet deal if you can use all 100 you pay for, but I wasn't that fortunate.
