Xbox One Kinect Sensor

I ordered the Xbox One Kinect Sensor, and even though it was a renewed item, you would never know it. It arrived in pristine condition, with all cords included and nicely packaged. Everything was in perfect working order. My family and I are really enjoying using the Kinect along with the games we purchased to go with it. Setup was easy, and the experience has been great overall. I highly recommend buying from this seller. Everything turned out fantastic.

I am currently troubleshooting this and will update this review once I find a resolution. I recently purchased this and an adapter to use the kinect on my xbox one X. When connected to the XBOX or my Windows 10 PC, the device continuously reboots. It will stay on for between 20 and 60 seconds, then turn off for about 10 seconds. As this occurs on my PC as well as my xbox, I've narrowed the problem down to the kinect or the adapter. The adapter I purchased is the Smarlin Kinect Adapter for Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X. Edit: The original sensor I purchased was defective, replacement adapter allows this device to work as intended. Modified from 1 star to 4.

I don't own an Xbox but with the right adapter I'm using this to affordably capture digital 3D objects of family and friends for my Windows 10 PC. This enables me to create all kinds of personalized gifts using their 3D likeness and print them out on my 3D printers, like drinking mugs, PEZ dispensers, dolls and masks. Real professional depth sensors can cost thousands of dollars, and this works just as well. I can also use it as a webcam for zoom meetings. No issues in over three years of heavy use and hundreds of scans. I'm confused about other reviews complaining about the adapter costing $300. I purchased both the Kinect and the adapter for about $120 total price in May of 2017 and I see the adapter currently listed as low as $21 on Amazon.

To be fair I was a bit sketched buying a used kinect off amazon 10+ years after these were made, but it has worked fine since!

There's effectively no reason to buy this particular Kinect now so don't waste your money. I'd do a "zero" rating if possible... Main use of our Xbox is for our young daughter and her friends to play the dance games and Kinect sports games. With how the Xbox 360 Kinect isn't compatible and this one only works with an adapter that is only available via eBay for >$200...this is ridiculous. Bought the Xbox One as a Christmas present so it was a great surprise to find out that primary planned use wasn't possible. Really disappointed in Microsoft on this one (guess I shouldn't be surprised). Could almost claim deceptive marketing by Microsoft and its resellers...but Microsoft apparently slipped a "no class action lawsuit" clause into their terms when accepting the Xbox One S user agreement. Never again for me....

It is fun for unlimited games and play. Go for it without delay. Buy few games from here till the Kinect reaches u, so u can play as soon as it reaches u. I bought it from here http://amzn.to/2H0fQFx

Package was well wrapped and arrived on time. Kinect works well eith my Xbox One S, I bought the adapter at the same time as the Kinect does not plug intonthe Xbox One S with out the adapter. We're enjoying the Kinect games and using the voice function to control the TV and Xbox One S.
