Best you can buy for a LGA1200
Best CPU my poor little motherboard can handle. Have been using this for a couple years now (I forgot to review). It works with air cooling at it's default 3.50Ghz, any overclocking needs watercooling BADLY. If you are stuck with a LGA1200 socket, this is the best you can get

Great Processor But Can Run Hot Unless Tuned!
Upgraded from a 9900k and had a hotter running PC. Couldn't figure it out at first and found myself checking my AIO, reapplying thermal paste, checking settings, etc. After research I was able to discover that given it a slight undervolt helps. What ended up helping even better and easier was ticking down the performance in the Performance Menu. In those option by simply ticking down the processor to 99% my temps went down to 55 for most of my games from initially running at average 80-85. This tuning comes without a noticeable hit on FPS except while playing "Squad" (a single core use cpu intensive game). With that game I do lose at least 10 fps by having the processor at 99%. This is not that big of a deal as I can easily tick it up to 100% for Squad and just put up with the 75-80 temps! Happy that I can at least play most of my games at a good temp while gaining good performance by this upgrade!

A Catch-Up Review from a 2022 i9-11900K Purchase
I am not a gamer by a long shot, but wanted a powerful Intel based CPU riding on an 'Asus Maximus Extreme Motherboard' along with a Asus RTX 4090 GPU. I purchased (1) of the most graphic intensive AAA game titles and a few CPU intensive military strategy simulation games known for their heavy demand for CPU physics computations. My Core i9-11900K which I purchased in 2022 performed admirably well on all accounts. Absolutely no complaints. Some reports say that the i9-11900K runs hot and sometimes above the 100°C mark? But that was not really the case with me or the many others when they installed a high quality 360mm or above sized AIO water cooler. My very demanding combat simulation (Command: Modern Operations) never presented a heating issue with the i9-11900K and with my over 80-hours of heavy duty play. For good measure my Cosmos C700M EATX case also includes a total of (7) additional independent Noctua cooling fans, which of course benefits the cooling within the massive interior of the enclosure. Overall I am extremely satisfied with INTEL in general and recommend the i9-11900K and or its newer siblings now as a very good buy!

Total Scam – Avoid This CPU At All Costs. Use 20th gen not 11th
I've been using this CPU for four years now. This isn't a one-day first impression. This is a long term review from someone who has lived with it and regretted it every single day. I bought it by accident thinking I was upgrading but I quickly learned the truth. If you run a 10th gen Intel CPU on an 11th gen motherboard you are forced to use the PCIe 3.0 slots and cannot use the top PCIe 4.0 slot. So you upgrade to an 11th gen CPU thinking you'll finally get that PCIe 4.0 speed. And you do. Congratulations. But here's the catch. You just sacrificed all your actual CPU power to get it. The 11th gen i9 has only 8 cores compared to the 10th gen i9 which has 10 cores. It literally has fewer cores and threads. And the performance? The i9-11900K actually runs slower than the i9-10900K in many tests. Multiple benchmarks show it underperforming the 10th gen across the board. It's been called "hot garbage" and a "waste of sand". It consumes up to 30% more power than comparable 10th gen chips. And the failure rate? Over 7% which is the highest among recent Intel processors. This generation was so bad it got discontinued before the 10th gen did. So you're paying more money for less performance, more heat, more power draw, and higher chance of failure. All so you can use a PCIe 4.0 slot that barely makes a difference in real world use anyway. I've dealt with this for four years and it never got better. It runs hot, it throttles, and it's slower than the chip I had before. This is the definition of a scam. Pros: Gives you PCIe 4.0 support if your motherboard supports it. Cons: Fewer cores than 10th gen, slower performance than 10th gen in many tests, up to 30% more power draw, runs hotter, highest failure rate of any recent Intel CPU, discontinued before 10th gen, worse multithreaded performance, you lose CPU power just to get a faster slot that doesn't matter, complete waste of money, literally a downgrade disguised as an upgrade, and I've suffered with it for four years.

Chegou no dentro do prazo, mas a caixa que vem é diferente.
E chegou no prazo correto, mas numa caixa diferente da foto. Processador é bom, mas só esfriou com water cooler.
