It works great on plants, this box last quite some time if you don't have a ton of plants to tend to. You really need just a little bit according to the instructions on the box. Very consistent and great quality.

I grow most of our veggies and herbs in our large basement garden. Although I use a quality potting soil, I add a number of products to the soil to increase moisture retention, drainage, and nutrients. Bat guano is one of the additives that I use at a rate of 1/4 cup to 5 gallons of soil. Bat guano is exceptionally rich in macronutrients—nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K)—which are essential for plant development. It improves soil structure by adding organic matter, which enhances aeration, drainage, and moisture retention. This creates an ideal environment for roots to grow and absorb nutrients efficiently. Unlike synthetic fertilizers, bat guano provides a slow release of nutrients, feeding plants gradually over weeks or months. This reduces the risk of nutrient burn and runoff while maintaining steady growth. This soil additive has no odor and is beneficial for all plants. I have ordered this bat guano in the past, and the NPK was 9-3-1. It is now 7-3-1. I don't know why they changed the formula, but it still works as expected. I hope this review was helpful for you.
