**Q: Do you sell the spring separately or know whom sells the spring?**
A: You can contact JERO America or Mad Cow Cutlery.  They have the springs.  The springs just aren't sold on Amazon.  - Customer Service JERO America.

**Q: Can they cut meat steak, and chicken?**
A: These are lightweight shears, more like the weight and cutting ability of regular scissors.  I'm very happy with them, but wouldn't try them on bones or any substantial piece of meat. 
 Maybe try poultry shears for chicken, and decent sharp knives for cutting meat.

**Q: Where are these scissors really made?**
A: The scissors are engraved "stainless steal made in Portugal"

**Q: How do I order a replacement spring?**
A: You might be better off with a new one or maybe email the manufacturers?

Is exactly like the one we had before. Lost it and ordered a replacement right away. Very sturdy and cuts almost anything. Probably one of the most used tools in our kitchen.
