Dear Zoo Touch and Feel Book

Excellent product

This book is a family favourite. All children and grandchildren have grown up with it.its nice to have the touch and feel that’s new for us.

an all time children's classic that needs no more plaudits. our daughter is 18 months and loves it. the board books are always the best; durable, long-lasting. we've had pop up books in the past but she pulls off the 'pop-ups', and has torn a few pages in the paper books, so this touch and feel board book was ideal. she knows most of the animal sounds and likes feeling the material of the each page. will be useful in a few months when learning adjectives (big, tall, fierce, naughty, et cetera). nice and easy to understand illustrations. well recommended.

I love this book as its a great story and I had it as a child. This one is so good as you feel them rather than little ones pulling the flaps off and the book getting ruined. Good value would done recommend this one for little children.

Baby and I enjoy reading this. Good and sturdy, has thick board pages which makes it a little easier for my almost 9 month old to try turn the pages! He loves feeling the different textures on the pages too.

Our Grandson adores Dear Zoo and has various different books but this is a favourite for him.

This is the sort of book most parents or grandparents would enjoy sitting and reading to a young child. The tale is simple - the Zoo is asked to send a pet and only succeeds in sending a series of pets which although a child might like to keep are completely impractical. First of all the Zoo sends an elephant with big floppy ear for the child to feel, the elephant is sent back and next a giraffe is sent with a long hairy neck (which can be felt) but he was too tall and also sent back and so on until eventually the Zoo sends a pet which is just perfect. The book introduces a young child to different animals, all of which are colourfully depicted. Having something different to touch on each page might help the child to learn different words and encourage them to explore different sensations. Yes, a fun book which could become a favourite. This book has so many language rich opportunities for you and your little one! Love this book so much. As an SLP I use it all the time with clients and students.

It serves as a baby version of flip-flap book. I do love this version too but the all excitement and joy from opening the box by flipping the paper is lost. So even though it is good that small kids cannot rip pages, I still buy the original version over this one
