Does this have all the necessary parts?** A: You would also need a Drop Ell (A725) to connect to the water supply (it is pictured, but not included). Also, this is an add-on function so you would have to pair it with a mixing valve and trim (to adjust temp, volume, on and off, etc) and a diverter/transfer trim and valve (unless you are going to use this in lieu of a shower head. If it is in addition to a shower head you would need a divert/transfer (ie. T4171/3372). **Q: Is the bar metal? What type?** A: Yes, it is metal. All chrome. **Q: Is this just hand held piece or does it include the complete bar as pictured** A: it comes with the bar, the hose and the shower head, it does not come with elbow that comes out of the wall.(another 45.00} **Q: It says vacumm breaker is sold separately, although i do not fully understand its usage, did someone install it without a vacuum breaker(and why)?** A: Vacuum breakers are not necessary. We had to use the no stud option of installation and the anchors were defective. We made 2 trips to Home Depot (the first was for the right size drill bit and the second was to get new anchors). We have really good water pressure in our shower and with this head, it is very much diminished. I ASSUME it is supposed to be that way to save water. Personally I'd rather have the water pressure take my skin off. Lol.
