Review: Great buttons, First Time Builder. - I wanted to build a joystick setup for arcade games and I made the mistake of buying a cheap kit. Everything was mostly useable (control board, joystick, wires), but the buttons were garbage. So I saw these ones for sale and bought them. The quality is awesome. They are very quiet compared to the cheap ones I had. I don't know too much about the hobby, but these have a very short button press. I'm assuming this is great for fighting games where you can make precise quick presses. Not that this was an issue for me, but this could come down to your own personal preference. Quality of the plastic is superb as well. I ended up buying a couple more Sanwa buttons for the start/coin buttons. Highly satisfied.

A: "Lug" in the description is referring to the connection point on the bottom of the button.    If you look at the gold part in the lower right of the picture, this is what they are talking about.  We recommend you use .110" quick disconnects to connect the wire to this button.

**Q: I'm building a controller from scratch.  What panel thickness works best with these?**
A: I'm not sure but I'm using the HRAP 4 Kai maybe you can look it up and compare also I'm pretty sure they're standard in most Japanese candy cabs

**Q: Do these work for arcade1up games?**
A: No, they are too short for arcade 1 up.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2002 maintenance inconvenience fight stick

It fit nicely in the arcade cabinet holes but I did have to modify and replace all the buttons of my original hori soul Calibur 2 PS2 arcade fight stick because the original buttons are smaller tall wise these are bigger replacing one just wasn't possible luckily I ordered the right amount six. Another note is that in order to get these into the circuit board I had to snip the copper ends where you would normally plug your harness in.
