It's louder than similarly designed budget speakers and even louder than some brand name speakers. I love how it comes with the mounting bracket, also the size means you can put it virtually anywhere you need it to be. I originally had it behind the grill of my Tahoe, but after installing my push bar I was able to relocate it to the cross member, now that the speaker is unobstructed it's even louder! Great product, great flexibility, for a great price. You can't go wrong with the Feniex Triton!
