There is NO better competitor. I've purchased 3 of these in different models and each one is a winner in it's own right. It's bass is mighty - in fact, you'll need to use an equalizer if you wanna use it for video-conferencing to ensure human voices come thru clearly over video connections. My Soundlinks are now in essential DAILY use :-) Buy them - you won't regret it
