I saw the exorbitant price for car swing away hitch devices and wonder if I couldakey own for less than half the price. Once the arm was done I needed something to keep it from swinging away. This latch was exactly what I needed. Not only does it look good but the locking mechanism makes the whole thing secure. The fact that it is adjustable made it even easier to use. All in all I am extremely satisfied and will definitely buy the product again fory next project.

Way better then the others ive bought on here put these on my spare tire carrier on my jeep grand cherokee and they dobt move at all works great if your building a tire carrier these are the ones u need

Ordered this set of two, one for me and one for my Dad. It's a bad day when you realize you, or someone else, left the door open to the freezer which held all that deer meat you waited all year to harvest, fresh gulf shrimp you de headed and neatly stored in freezer bags for when you wanted to have a fry or put in the gumbo come wintertime, the fish filets from that awesome fishing trip ect ect. Then you spend all day crying as you throw all the meat out and clean the freezer knowing this all could have been avoided by just making sure the door was closed all the way. This clamp seals the deal and gives you peace of mind. Installation tip: use the shortest self-tappers you can and make sure you don't strip the screws. I predrilled my holes and slowly installed my screws to make sure of that. Easy to adjust for just the right tightness to make sure the door seals well. Best wishes to all full freezer owners.

Very nice latching toggle clamp. The built-in release is a nice feature. I worry somewhat that the spring may corrode over time, and if it does then the locking function will stop working. I have them on a trailer where I think some form of secondary lock is necessary on all latches. This one is nice because it eliminates the need for a secondary locking pin or padlock. I'm happy to have it, it works well, my only worry is the spring. If I was buying again I might go back to the type with a through hole for a secondary lock just for the peace of mind. As it is, it works well and I'll just keep an eye on it. I'm giving it 5 stars because it works very well, and I don't know that there will be a problem, I just worry that their might be. Something others may want to consider depending on their application.

Very nice product however wouldn't fit for intended use but used elsewhere on chest worked beautifully
