Teva women's sandal Teva is an authentic icon in the outdoor industry. Founded in the early 1980's by a Colorado River guide, Teva pioneered the sport-sandal category. For more than 20 years on rivers, in canyons, and across the trails of the great outdoors, athletes and enthusiasts have traveled the globe comfortably and confidently in Teva footwear. Providing positive contributions to the world in which we play is at the core of everything Teva stands for. The Teva name itself is a Hebrew word meaning "nature" and the hand logo is the Hopi symbol for "friendship" and "water." Teva supports the outdoor athletic lifestyle and remains committed to innovation in outdoor performance footwear, the platforms which carry enthusiasts beyond the offices of the day-to-day and onto the rivers, trails, and canyons of the next adventure. Review: SIMPLE and SIMPLY THE BEST - I bought a pair of these over a decade ago, and they are still in good shape, but I was looking to get another pair of flip flops. I searched and everything I saw was unacceptable for various reasons. I didn't think Teva even made these as they never came up in my search. I decided to search for them directly, and lo and behold there they were. They are simple and simply the best flip flops IMO. They stay on your feet better than ones with just a toe thong, are comfortable with good surface traction, and look very cute as well. I bought another pair in blue colors. The original pair I have were very durable for walking a fair ways, and I expect these to be no different. Review: My “Never Took Them Off” Sandals That Somehow Still Look Good Years Later - I bought the Teva Women’s Olowahu Flip-Flops back in October 2021 because I needed a real everyday sandal, not the kind you wear for a cute picture and then regret by hour two. Living in Florida, sandals aren’t a seasonal thing for me—they’re basically part of the uniform. So I wanted something that could handle constant wear without falling apart or turning uncomfortable. Back then they were around $18, which felt like a no-brainer. I’ve noticed they’re closer to $33 now, and honestly… based on how mine have held up, I can’t even argue with that price jump. These have been on my feet a lot. I’m talking daily wear—running out for errands, walking the dog for a couple miles, wandering around race car events, even gardening when I forget I’m not dressed like someone who should be in the dirt. They’ve basically lived a full life with me instead of sitting in a closet waiting for “beach days.” Comfort-wise, the cushy Mush footbed is what keeps me reaching for them. They’ve got that soft, broken-in feel without needing an actual break-in period, which is rare. The cross straps also help them feel more secure than your average flip-flop, so they don’t do that annoying slide-off thing when you’re walking fast or uneven ground. Now, fast forward to May 2026, and they still look surprisingly good. There’s some minor fading from getting wet and being washed over time (Florida life + garden hose = unavoidable combo), but the black is still rich and deep overall. No straps have loosened, no stitching has come apart, nothing has given up on me yet. If I’m being real, that’s probably what impressed me most—they’ve held structure better than most sandals I’ve owned that cost way more. I’ve always liked Teva as a brand for sandals, but these are the pair that really made me stick with them. At this point, they’ve basically earned “trusted daily shoe” status. Not fancy, not delicate, just dependable in a way I didn’t think a flip-flop could be.

My “Never Took Them Off” Sandals That Somehow Still Look Good Years Later
I bought the Teva Women’s Olowahu Flip-Flops back in October 2021 because I needed a real everyday sandal, not the kind you wear for a cute picture and then regret by hour two. Best Flip-flops ever!
Love these flips. Durable. Comfortable. My 3rd pair in 4 year!

Fit and appearance
I like the cushion and criss-cross look of the sandal. I am usually a size 7.5 but a size 9 had fit me the best to ensure the straps weren’t too tight and not rub too strongly against my skin. When I sized up, the length was a little longer than my entire foot length but not too long in which I wouldn’t keep the shoe. Sizing up worked for me to allow the sandal to fit but just be cautious that it may next help for everyone.

Same Reva style
Love these Reva sandals. They are my 4th or 5th pair. Why buy one when you can have 2. Comfy and cute.

Double check the size before ordering and when they arrive
I love these! Very comfy I I had a pair last summer. Unfortunately these the ones that where sent to me where an 11 w I am not a wide and feel less secure in my feet. I’m keeping them because I have worn them already. I did not know I order a wide pretty sure it didn’t say they were at the time of purchase but I’d have to go back and check maybe I made a mistake in ordering. Keep it in mind to double check the sizing before ordering!

I'm on the fence.
Update: I gave them away... I just can't stand shoes that I'm aware of and they are awkward to walk in... like all the strap-support is in the wrong place compared to how your foot moves when you walk. Not only that but I've always known one foot was bigger than the other but this is the first time a shoe was downright painful on one and not the other. I can't stand them. Original post: Ignore my old lady fat feet. Covid got my feet looking neglected lol.... I gotta say... I hope they "loosen up" a little. The left shoe seems to fit more comfortably than the right. As you can see the right kinda pinches my toes, but the left doesn't. The part over the toes is a really snug fit for my sausage feet... but the strap that is set further back over the top of the foot seems looser. The end result is that they just don't feel stable on my feet. I feel awkward in the, as if I'm going to "walk right out" of them at any given time. Additionally, on both sides, my pinky toe wants to pop out. This isn't really a flaw of the designer, because my toes pop out of a lot of scrappy sandals like this. I should be wearing a wide shoe, but that's really actually hard to find in sandals and online shopping. I didn't give it 3 stars for that, but because they just feel unbalanced. Like I said, they fit well enough, but I feel like I am going to walk out of them. I do like the soles. They are very comfortable. I have very high arches, so the soles did feel supportive (as much as a standard "flip flop" sandal can, I guess). They are pretty true to size. I don't like my sandals to be too big (a lot of extra toe space). I wear an 8 in tennis shoes, typically, and a 7-7.5 in sandals, so having wide feet, I chose size 8. I did this knowing the straps on my regular size would be too tight. So you can see how much toe room is left. More than I prefer. If I had narrow feet, a 7 would have probably been perfect. If you have narrower feet and longer pinky toe, these will probably be an excellent sandal for you. They really are cute. If they loosen up for me, to become more comfortable, I will update this review... that is, if I can FIND the item... for some reason, Amazon is not showing these flip flop sandals in my purchased items list!?! What's up with that, Amazon?? Don't get me wrong, they're cute... just, I'm on the fence with personal pros and cons. Based on what my complaints are, you can add another star to my rating if it doesn't apply to you. If your feet/pinky toes are like mine? 3 stars.

Love them!
I love these flip flops. I have bought them at least 3 times for my mom and sister and they love them too! So comfy and great traction. I use them at the beach and to me they have been great at water resistance and breathability.

Bester Wander-Flip Flop
