My 997.2 with the worn motor mounts have a feeling of a "dog chasing its tail". There was a distinct disconnect between the fore and aft of the car. Now, the car feels more as a solid wholesome. The noise it generates is different. I find it no more noisier than the stock mounts, but it definitely sounds different. You feel a bit of raspy sound which could best be described as metallic which makes sense because that is closer to the engine's normal frequency/sound. In fact I much prefer the sound that the RSS mount transmits. The job was easy, you need a jack, a piece of plywood to support the engine at the oil pan.
