Tohlar Kitchen Tap with Pull Out Sprayer, Kitchen Mixer Tap Brsuhed Nickel

Cannot recommend this enough. Similar but much less attractive options were available through our kitchen supplier for literally hundreds of pounds. This saved us a lot of money and the functionality is fantastic. Cant comment on the fitting as we paid someone to do it but he didn’t complain! Love that it just looks like a normal tap from afar instead of obviously being a hose tap, but I really couldn’t be without this for how much easier and effective it makes rinsing. The stainless steel is also really robust and easy to keep clean.

We wanted a tap with a spray hose attachment for our sink to make life a little easier as the existing tap was fixed in place. I got a plumber to install mine as part of some other jobs that needed doing as I required new fittings for the connectors to be placed and for sections of solid copper pipe to be removed to make room. Having fitted it and tried to adjust it for about 20 minutes, it was obvious that the gravity ball weight alone was not enough to retract the hose without you forcing it back down the tap from the sprayer end, leaving a small bit dangling out until the ball finally pulled it back up. Other designs have a magnetic attachment to assist this and I wish I had gone for those. The issue (I believe) is that the nylon braided hose is causing too much friction through the base of the tap causing it to not retract under its own weight.I contacted Tohlar customer assistance who have repeatedly asked me to adjust the gravity ball position, remove and reconnect the pipework because of crowding etc. I assume they're used to having a set of troubleshooting prompts and while this probably solves many issues it really won't with this. That being said, they have been very prompt and good at offering advice and marked up my own photos with text to show exactly where things needed to be adjusted so I can't fault them there.I've since purchased an extra hose weight to add to it and now it works perfectly.

I wish my old tap was like this! took an hour trying to get the old one out, 10 minutes putting this in.It's very thoughtfully designed.1) The threaded shaft is nice and long - perfect for my counter top as it's quite deep so there's plenty of thread. (old tap barely fitted)2) The nut to tighten it underneath has a cut away - so you can simply slide it over the pipes! (my old tap didn't, and it was near impossible trying to slide the nut past everything down all the tubes).3) The nut also has 2 tightener screws - this was awesome, can't get a spanner in the tight space, and with old tap it always worked loose because I couldn't properly tighten, with this one I can finger tighten first, then just use screwdriver to fully grip, nice design!4) Tap operation nice and solid. Nice and tight tap movement, feels very solid.5) Ball joint on the tap end bit - this is actually going to be useful not only in that you can angle it obviously, but wear and tear - old tap has died here basically, because from moving constantly it obviously is a weak point. But this ball joint on this means there's no bending of the tube at the joint.6) Spray nice and narrow - didn't think much of this before, but it's quite useful as it helps blast away stuff on plates instead of sprinkling it like a shower.7) nice rocker switch on the tap end - better than a push button as it's more instantly obvious which mode you are in. (note, it doesn't feel great uninstalled as there's no pressure - once there's pressure, the switch rocks nicely)8) good instructions and guide marks - like, the pipe has a 'add weight here' - nice! old tap didn't and was a bit of adjustments to find the best place - this, right place first time. The weight is nicely weighted too - old tap wasn't and used to get stuck, this has just enough weight to pull it back, but not too much so it's a pain to pull out.Overall, very pleased!

Beautiful tap

Tap looks great and works great for cold water but it’s useless with hot water on our gravity fed system so we’ll need to replace it asap.Bit annoying as there’s nothing on the specification which states minimum pressure.

Has been installed over a month now with no problems a great value for money replacement tap

We bought two of these for a new kitchen/utility. They look ok (and were cheap), but come with a string of problems, mostly identified by previous reviewers:(1) the handle is flimsy and gradually starts to jump when moving between temperature/flow rate;(2) the hot/cold markings will be backwards for most people (for typical right hand drainer sinks the cold is pushed away, hot towards you);(3) they never feel truly secure against the draining board, no matter what you do;(4) the retracting spray never returns on its own - see photo (and this is not because the weight is resting on something).If you’re reading this and you go on to buy them, you have been warned…

Ho 2h di idraulico da pagare per nulla: mi ha smontato il vecchio miscelatore, gli attacchi del nuovo sono UK e non compatibili con quelli italiani se non con un adattatore che sono dovuto correre a comprare (e qui la colpa è mia, è un prodotto UK anche se venduto in Italia, purtroppo non lo sapevo). L'idraulico sta terminando di stringere i tubi quando si accorge che la filettatura del tubo dell'acqua fredda non regge, gira a vuoto. Rubinetto da smontare, altra corsa in negozio di idraulico, miscelatore nuovo pagato a peso d'oro.Assolutamente sconsigliato.

El montaje es sencillo, el color muy bonito y funciona muy bien. Hay que poner bien el contrapeso para que funcione correctamente. Esperemos que dure bastante. De momento muy contenta con la compra
