Backpacker's Pantry Pad Thai

Not a 6 pack like picture shows. This a rip off for $24 a pack.

I bring at least one of these for every single backpacking trip. I am lactose intolerant and can only eat "vegan" labeled dishes. Also gluten intolerant but not that bad...This meal says it serves 2 but trust me, you won't want to share. It's so good, I've eaten one at home when I was craving thai and didn't want to go out to get it. Keep up the good vegan work, Backpacker's Pantry!!

It was a pretty tasty meal but be aware that you will p**p GREEN for a WEEK after eating this.

Probably one of the better products here but I think mountain house did one better I just can't find it here so these are good

This tastes absolutely nothing like Pad Thai. I had high expectations for this meal based off of reviews, but it was genuinely disgusting. Being hungry after backpacking many miles, I could barely eat more than a few bites of this. I have had many other dehydrated meals that were significantly better than this one. You will be disappointed if you buy this meal, thank me later. I have enjoyed many other Backpackers Pantry meals but this one missed the mark.

I dunno how else to describe it..not good? Not pad thai? I used the whole sriracha packet and it ended up tasting kinda tomatoey? I def wouldn't recommend. I think Yellow Curry Chicken from Mountain House is probably the best of these, or an old tried and true is Chili Mac from Mountain House.

Had high expectations after watching some Youtube reviews. Glad I only bought one to try. Unfortunately, it does not taste like Pad Thai. It's a spicy noodle dish, but missing the sweet/sour taste of Pad Thai. It's edible, but will not repurchase.

Based on some of the "most helpful" reviews, I was expecting disappointment (or worse), but this is actually a great value. Is it the greatest Pad Thai you'll ever eat? Hopefully not, but it is excellent as far as freeze-dried meals go. The taste of peanuts, chili, lime and tamarind all come through. As one of the other reviewers said, make sure to shake it well before adding the wet ingredients so the spices don't clump together at the bottom, and I'd also recommend unzipping the bag and stirring it up well periodically to ensure water gets into all the corners. The texture isn't great, but honestly, I wasn't expecting it to be. For the price, it's a great value.
