I've always been pleased with their kitchen tools. So i took a gamble on this new version of their trio timer, despite seeing the other poor reviews here. I use it daily for cooking. It's not even a month old and the display is spoilt. Swapped out fresh batteries - twice ! Still didn't work. When it did work, it was decent. Buttons are well spaced out so even with fat fingers there won't be accidental button presses. I don't like the inverted display. The visibility is not good and when you're not viewing it head on, the digits are fuzzy. The traditional display is way easier on the eyes. This unit is bulky so be sure to measure your usable space. The alarm speaker ain't that loud, so if you're in a really noisy environment, you might find it lacking. The alarm tone is not intrusive; it's a pleasant gentle tone (NOT what you want in an alarm timer) If this actually lasted me a year i would rate it 5/10. But considering it didn't even last a month, it deserves a 1/10.
