It is sew-in which for several reasons I like better than fusible because most fusibles don’t adhere well and also pucker, etc. as you manipulate the fabric. The soft and stable gives a bag the stability it needs to hold its shape. It is also easy to sew through on a home sewing machine - even double layers. On a couple of my tote bags I didn’t even line the bags. My soft and stable is the bag’s inner lining. I will say though the black does make the inner bag very dark. But it makes a nice looking bag liner if you want to skip lining the bag with another fabric which also saves time and fabric manipulation. I really like this product.
