No complaints for my Z51 C5
I was a negligent owner of my used C5 Z-51 Corvette. I had every indication that there was something wrong with the shocks, but it drove the same as the other C5s I test-drove before buying my 7-year-old car, so I thought it was "normal". Boy, was I wrong! Following the installation of the Bilstein B6 shocks, front and rear, (along with my second set of Michelin Pilot Sports) my car finally drives the way it was supposed to drive. The handling is so good, I don't dare press it to the limits, it feels too fast for me. It does not have the lithe, fun feel of a light sports car, but it does feel like the traction will never break on curves. There's also a massive improvement in ride comfort. They're expensive (for my budget) but worth the price in performance.
