these sharpen my pencils so perfectly. It is also great that you get two of them because they do fill up pretty quickly as you’re shaving the pencils. They seem to be pretty durable and I love that they’re clear so you can see how full they are.

Like having 4 separate sharpeners together in one unit. Shavings trapped in clear cover. Can accommodate different diameter pencils or crayons and different length points achievable. Size too large to fit into standard diameter travel pencil or pen case elastic loop, but can fit into small zipper pocket. Comes in a pair, so easy to leave one in home studio and take one for travel or plein air art kit. Extra blade provided for each unit.

Does what it’s supposed to do. Well made and has an extra blade.

I used it following the video on How to use the product. Do that as it is clear from some comments that people didn't catch it and didn't understand how to use it correctly. Start with the largest whole and sharpen your pencil down through ALL the openings. The smallest one, After the one marked "s" is for sharpening just the lead itself. I had to go back & forth btwn different openings to fine tune the sharpening, eg the medium and the small, the small and the tiny opening. The sand paper inside is for the lead itself, for cleaning up just the lead itself up to a sharper point. Gave it a 4 (3.5) star rating for the following reasons: There are other long point sharpeners I have used before that I found better. It will likely work a little bit better on smaller sized graphite leads. It worked well enough on the polychromos color pencil with an overall thicker lead dimension (~4mm versus ~2mm for graphite drawing pencils). If you look closely at the tip in the photo you will see the 'edging' created by the sharpener because the lead is 4mm. That can be taken care of with the sand paper. You can also see on the 3 pic the tip fo the graphite pencils are actually blunt, so again, you'll need to use the sandpaper to finish that off. The middle pencil also has some of the wood casing left on it. That came off easily enough with my fingernail and may be happening because these were previously sharpened the 'traditional artist way' with a pen knife. Works well enough for now. And there is a spare blade taped to the inside of the case.

Purchased 2 sets, after receiving the 1st purchase, I immediately reviewed the seller's product videos on "how to use".. I then was using on my art pencils; I was amazed with the performance of these sharpeners. Very great product !!! I will recommend to my fellow artist. I am a teacher with students that are on the go traveling with their artwork, something very handy back-n-forth from school. Thanks !!!

I’ve had bad luck with erasers! I like long leads and have resorted to using a utility knife or razor blade. Besides the safety it’s very time consuming to make sharp long leads. You have to play with it a little bit to get a consistent long lead but once you know your routine this is a a hidden gem of an item for long lead drawers. Seems pretty durable thus far too! The leads can be needle point sharp too!
