It did this with mine automatically, I believe it can be programmed NOT to do this, but by default it reads the barcode and then hits "enter." Eg, is I read a barcode with my cursor in a google box, it will scan the barcode and do a google search without me hitting "enter" **Q: Does this work with FBA to list products etc that I am selling?** A: Hi Tyson, that is the reason I bought this scanner. When I bring product home I use the scanner to enter the UPC codes into Amazon's "search" field... works like a charm! I have mine set up in its stand and simply put the item under the scanner while sat at my desk. I didn't even have to do any setup... it truly was plug'n'play... at a very affordable price too!
