I got this camera system around a month ago and it’s been a nice addition to my pickup. I got the one with the rear camera, my Ram doesn’t have a cargo cam so I installed the ear one to look down at the bed of my truck. It has two mounting options, windshield and dash mount. I opted for the windshield mounting which uses a suction cup. With the camera mounted that high, the camera is able to be adjusted up and down to get the right angle. I was shock with how well the night vision works with this camera. I was able to drive through the Adirondacks in NY and in a rural area like that, it’s great to have a camera that can see further than your eyes at night because of different animals that can appear out of no where! It has recording options as well which is really convenient and it can be used as a dash cam as well! I will update this review as I get more usage out of this and with photos.

Night vision works as described. It is also helpful during daytime driving in rainy weather. The camera cuts right through the droplets and gives a better view of the road than natural vision. The screen has 3 brightness settings and it needs to have at least 5 or 6. The dimmest setting is still too bright and during dark hours it actually dilates my pupils and makes it too difficult to use my natural vision while driving on city streets. The low brightness setting is still 2x too bright and it needs to be dropped in half to avoid Flashlight Blindness effects. I bought the rear camera but is not installed yet. I am very, very unsatisfied with the awful, low quality instructions for how to mount and route wiring for the rear camera. The only guidance the manufacturer will share is a video (no written material exists) and the video shows ZERO INSTRUCTIONS on how to actually rig and route the cable from the back of the car to the dashboard unit. They show how to drill the holes in the back and then how to absorb the slack up near the glove box and they skip over all of the diffiult6stuff in between.

Purchased item with rear camera. Front camera picture was magnified and stretched to fit the screen. This made it difficult to get a clear image. I had to use the window mount and the ball joint would not lock and kept rotating. Frustrating. Rear camera was clear, good picture and the wire length was long enough for a truck. The rear camera does not come with guides to assist in backing up but picture was fantastic. I tried to contact the manufacture, which only provides an email but they did not respond to several attempts and I had to return it. I would NOT recommend using this to drive by as there advertising suggests. Update: After posting the review, I did receive an email, with an apology explaining is an unintended mistake and they have fixed the problem. The answer to my original questions are below. Q1: the front camera picture is stretched. It appears to be magnified and stretched. Is this normal? A1: Yes it's normal. LANMODO NVS is designed for safe driving at night, so the front camera picture will be a little bit magnified and stretched, and looks nearer than in reality, to remind driver to keep distance. Q2: the window ball joint is lose and does not hold the camera steady. I have tighten as much as possible. What should I do? A2: Have you tightened the both screws? One is on the ball and the other one is on the side of suction cup. And you must lock the suction cup to keep it stable when attached to the windshield

Excellent quality of video, works very well, very useful and helpful device, love it.

Overly bright for dash use at night even on lowest setting. Any lights have large halos and lens flairs. When no oncoming lights the picture is good, can see a long way out, especially road lines, however in bad weather the camera is blocked by buildup on the windsheild. Mounting can be problematic, its a large screen and on steeply angeled windshields can be hard to fit in. Build quality is very good, shipping is fast. I will return it and wait for the updated version.

Por su tamaño rectangular, se espera que sea muy buen wide angle, de frente ninguno...no instale camara de atras, fue para regalo y la persona que se lo di dijo lo mismo y que muy grande para ir al frente si tienes auto pequeño. Calidad optica es super buena.

車検を機会にスタンドでドライブレコーダー付けてもらいました。SDカードは後からAmazonで購入したので、設置した状態で挿入になりました。挿入方向の説明がなく、ガソリンスタンドのスタッフと一緒にいろいろためして、無事挿入しましたが、フォーマットできません。入れ方を何度も試すうちに、カードが入り込んで取り出せなくなりました。一年保証とありますが、修理の窓口など記載無しでどうしたらいいか途方にくれてます。Amazonは返金に関する対応しかなさそうですが、自分は本体の交換または修理だけでいいのです、対応検討して欲しいです。

Il prodotto di per sé è impressionante per l'elevata luminosità che offre, ma con mio disappunto devo ammettere che non mi è stato molto utile. La luminosità intanto è talmente elevata che anche se tarata al minimo, risulta molto fastidiosa durante la guida in quanto di disturbo, riflette sul parabrezza creando disagio. Lo schermo sia con base appoggio sia con attacco al vetro mi toglie visibilità durante le svolte in curva. Buono per le strade dritte dove il display può essere utile, come se si avessero i fari di profondità sempre puntati, buona la luminosità anche laterale, ma non nelle curve dove la visibilità del display durante la sterzata viene a mancare. Il display è come se riprendesse in zoom una parte della visuale. Non è touchscreen, non appena l'auto si spegne o lo si stacca dal caricabatterie pure il prodotto si spegne e non ha una batteria che mantiene in standby. Inoltre tutti i fari di auto che ci vengono incontro o i semafori o qualsiasi altra luce danno molto fastidio al display. Ho caricato 3 foto , la prima fatta col cel a buio, la seconda accendendo il display, la terza con i fari anabbaglianti. Ho fatto il reso in quanto non vale a mio avviso il prezzo di 390 € Forse fosse costato un centinaio di euro ci avrei potuto pensare. Lo consiglio a chi può permettersi tale cifra e a chi percorre strade molto buie.

夜間の視認性は良い。必要十分だ。 しかし、リアカメラの信頼性が、全く無い。 この時期に購入したからわかったことだけれど、熱に弱くノイズが入ったり、全く映らなくなったりと品質に問題がある。 よって、返品した。 残念だ！
