Just what I needed as a dongle for a USB key I need plugged in often
This has, I am sure, saved my USB key from certain death :) ... I have a security key I need to have plugged in nearly all the time I use my work laptop, and this short dongle give me the flexibility I need to keep it plugged in without risking bumping and breaking it or the USBC port. Excellent construction and functionality -- glad I purchased!

USB adapters are a big help to technical geeks like myself. This brand is affordable and their merchandise is durable. I use these cables and adapters for school and work.

Good product - mixed results on Galaxy Tab S3
This is a well built OTG adaptor. The cable is stiff, with a braided cover and the USB C connector looks like it is gold plated. The stiffness means it tends to stick out straight, rather than hang limp. The USB socket is a bit tight. As a result, it can take a little effort to fully insert the plug. If you have trouble reading a drive, check to see that it is fully inserted. I was able to use it with USB flash drives with no problems. However, my SD card reader would not work. The tablet showed that it was connected, but I got an "Error reading file" when opening the drive. I'm sure that this is not the fault of the adaptor, but some quirk of the tablet. I mention it only as information for other users of the Galaxy Tab S3.

Works great!
Bought this to connect a chill mat with USB only, to a new MacBook Pro with USB-C only. Did not want the extension of traditional adapters on the side of the laptop and this tucks underneath, right inside the chill mat. Works great, can't speak to data transfer, but it appears to be a high quality, durable item. Go for it!

Works fine for adding a USB-A connection to my laptop.
I use this to allow me to plug my mouse into a usb-c connector when the other usb ports are in use. For this application, it has been fine. I have also tried it for connecting a USB drive to my android phone, and it works for that. Physically, I prefer the two connectors on a short cable to a rigid adapter with no cable, because it puts less strain on the mating usb-c socket and the short braided cable on this is flexible and nicely attached to the connectors. The connectors are high quality.
