I use these to monitor my 3D printer filament storage conditions. These multi-purpose sensors are small and convenient to place inside all sorts of places to monitor temperature and humidity. They are manufactured to have small barbs on the outer shell so that you can click them into panels and the like - in the same method as automotive switches fit into place, so that you can design a panel and incorporate these using the standard method of retention. The inbuild watch style battery lasts ages (years) and the display is typical LCD wit h black text on a silvery background - easy to read but is not backlit. The accuracy is plus or minus about 7 percent, this is perfectly adequate for most usage - these aren't expensive pieces of equipment and are not 'lab calibrated' which would cost considerably more, but given their very reasonable cost they are perfectly suitable for comparison between external environmental conditions VS storage conditions (office humidity vs storage humidity). I have purchased loads and loads of these, they give a clear indication of humidity and last for ages before the watch style battery requires replacement. I'll certainly continue to use and purchase more of these for my 3D printer filament storage needs.

All worked. Slight variation in readings. Seem reasonably accurate when compared with more expensive device. not sure how long batteries will last. Why not deliverer them un activated?

Decent enough . We got two lots of these and there wasn't much variation in the readings , so pleased with them . Three of them were a bit off , so a star is dropped , but you could calibrate these off the the rest .

Bought these for dry boxes that I am printing for my 3D printer great fit and tested them all in the same area and no need for calibration if this is possible; other posts report that they need this but I cant see that there is any way of doing this.

These aren't bad at all for the price, but there are a few things to keep in mind. They come with the batteries already installed and switched on, which isn’t ideal if you're not planning to use them all straight away. I’d recommend popping the batteries out of the ones you’re not using to avoid draining them unnecessarily. In terms of accuracy, they consistently read about 1°C higher than my other thermometers. Not a huge deal for me, but worth noting if you need really precise readings. I also tested the included cooking thermometer in boiling water and it topped out at 99.4°C, which is a bit shy of the expected 100°C. I did a bit of experimenting to compare it with my other thermometers, one photo has the cooking thermometer taped down and the other has it floating slightly in the air. When taped down, the reading sits between the two other thermometers, which means these might possibly be more accurate than the ThermPro, but I'm not sure if the tape might affect the result. Floating, it's slightly lower, which would suggest the ThermPro is more accurate. Honestly, I still don’t know which is giving the "true" reading. For my use, where being off by a degree or two doesn’t really matter, these are fine. And the compact size is super handy. So yeah, not perfect, but not bad either.
