Mine was spinning in the correct direction but the blades had not been turned around, so it was not moving much air (and consuming too much power). The blades are stamped with direction of rotation; also look at the curvature of the blades. Same holds true for this fan; to set up in push mode, you have to reverse the wiring AND flip the blade so it is spinning in the correct direction. I also replaced the machine's side panels with hardware cloth, to better allow air flow. If you do not run your machine continuously, this all is probably not an issue.
