This is for Linux 2.8, or so, and Linux is around version 4.9, but it's a good starting point. The author tells you what he's going to cover, covers it, then reviews what he covers. And, he covers the code in great detail. Not even been through first 100 pages and the index pages are falling off. It’s going to be super tuff to use the book from this point onwards.
