They look so beautiful with my kitchen. When we first got them, we were wowed by how elegant and beautiful they look on the table setting. Very shiny, with some heft to each piece which exuded a sense of quality.But after only a few weeks, tiny bits of the copper plating started flaking off. We were concerned whether we had ingested the flakes or not in our food, because we initially were not aware that this was happening. It was only after we closely inspected the flatware one day while drying them off with a soft dishcloth that we realized that the finish was flaking off.We never washed them in the dishwasher, we only hand washed them to keep them looking beautiful.We also had the same problem as the other reviewer with the knives - they have a very dull blade which literally could not cut various types of meats.If the finish wasn't flaking off, we would definitely give this 5 stars.
