200W, N-Type, Bifacial 1) Yes, the reviews are accurate regarding the incredibly inadequate packaging. I bought 5 of these and every single one of them had varying amounts of damage. The cardboard was shredded, corners missing, cuts, slashes, and holes throughout. Only one panel arrived shattered, though. I returned it via UPS store drop off the same day and they had a replacement at my door in under a week. The other four and the replacement panel all have some scuffs and nicks in the frames. I had to file down a couple of nasty sharp aluminum shards to avoid injury while handling. 2) You might wonder after that first bit why I'd give this 5 stars. I'll tell you: When they arrived all dinged up and I had to return one (and after I received the replacement), I gave them a quick once over with my multi-meter and a few minutes each plugged in to a small power station to make sure they operated. They all worked OK but seemed pretty average as far as output. I finally got around to starting the project I bought these for today. I decided to lay them out and wire them up in my yard in the configuration they're going to get mounted on the porch roof. Just laying on the ground on a cool but less than ideal sky condition day, they gave me 920 watts in a 5-S configuration whenever the sun was mostly out of the clouds. Open circuit voltage for the array was 111 volts. I won't know exactly what they're capable of until I get an ideal conditions day, but I paid .57 cents a rated watt and I'm getting 92% of rated watts just laying on the ground without any optimization and no bi-facial potential what so ever. 3) This format (31 or so inches by 47 or so inches and weighing about 21lbs) is handy. I'd imagine most people buy these for mounting on RVs, toy-haulers, and such. I bought them to roof mount on my porch. They're small and light enough for one person to manage pretty easily. After testing them today, I brought them up on a 12 foot roof and mounted them by myself (and I'm no spring chicken). Depending on how you intend to mount them, you might spend more money on mounting hardware than you would otherwise with larger format panels because of math (generally speaking, 2 400 watt panels might need half the mounting hardware 4 200 watt panels might need), but it sure is nice to be able to safely manage panels solo. 4) Finally, the last thing to know about these from my perspective is that the only reason I decided to type a review is because I came back to this page to buy half a dozen more of these. Low quality packaging, shipping damage, dealing with a return... Small potatoes. If I was in some sort of a huge hurry to get this project done, maybe I'd feel different. The price, performance, and manageable form factor far outweigh the rest. They're good enough for me to buy twice and use up the remainder of the space on my porch roof. (though it does look like the price went up a few dollars since last month - still not as expensive as comparable calsuns or etc, but future review readers should eye-ball the price tag and make sure it's still competitive before buying)

So far so great! For the price you will not do better. These are double sided (in short on the back side they capture reflected light and boost the overall output. I am getting well over 100 watt on these 100 watt panels). I am not sure how long they can maintain such a low price, however, one panel is a great price and two panels bought together is over the top amazing. Super simple standard connectors and if you need straight wire connections the wire quality is great for stripping and utilizing (this most likely voids warranty, with that I can see no reason why you would need to use the warranty as the panels are solid and well built. As for the double sided feature, the concept calls for the panels to be mounted off the surface so that reflected sun light can hit the underside. So if your brackets are up allowing light to get underneath these are for you. You do need a controller, pick a good one. PWM controllers are not as efficient as MPPT. You pay more for MPPT and it is well worth it (look for deals). In my specific DIY application I am doing a 360 degree rotational rig so that the panels are always facing the sun. For seasonal adjustments I will set the pitch (or seasonal angle manually 4 times per year, i.e. Summer Winter solstice and spring and fall equinox). ~20 degrees to about ~40 degrees towards equator). I am using a slow high torque motor and a timer (motor speed .6 RPM the timer is on 4.17 seconds every hour). A slip ring keeps the power line from twisting. Fun little project.... Be well!

It still works perfectly with my 12V battery and 40A 12V/24V MPPT setup (Vmp lands in a good range), but it’s something to confirm if your controller or wiring expects a higher-voltage panel or if you’re planning series strings for a 24V nominal system. Overall and as of now I’m happy with how this panel has improved my yard lighting reliability and output in a space-friendly package. The bifacial capability and compact high-efficiency design make it a smart step up from the old 100W unit for a typical home off-grid lighting project. That said, because this compact bifacial N-Type model is still relatively new, I don’t have long-term data on degradation or durability after several years of full outdoor exposure (UV, temperature swings, occasional heavy rain or wind). The manufacturer warranty is reassuring, but real-world longevity in a yard environment is still an unknown I’ll be watching over time. For now, it’s performing well and was a worthwhile upgrade.

Great 200w Solar panel. Very light weight, but seems durable. Rather than installing 2 100w panels, this is lighter and smaller in size than 2 100w; and doesn't require a Y connection, which loses power. Haven't guaged the output yet, but seems to work well with my Hqst MPPT controller. Charges my Eco-worthy 280ah LifePo4 up very quickly. Oh, added bonus, the black looks very cool on the roof. Now, for the Negative, packaging was extremely poor. I am surprised it made it in one piece. only 2 edges had protective plastic pieces, only a thin piece of padding between the glass and the box. I give all the credit of it arriving in 1 piece to the UPS people!! Not much use for the Bi-facial panel as it sits on my camper roof and might only get a bit of extra.

Purchased four of these for a DIY balcony, plug-in solar setup. They seem well made and were the best dollar per watt for this kind of panel I could find. They are a versatile size as well. The packaging was not very good but UPS didn't damage any of my four.

These things are freakin awesome! I get over 100 watts at peak solar gain hours, and they have proven to be tough as nails. Had a 6' step ladder fall on them, but nithing broke. Also had the wind rip them off a temporary/portable mount, and fling them on top of each other, with no damage. Forget flexible panels, and figure out how to mount these units on your van, RV, or boat, if you just need a small system. I am running three of these, through a cheap (Renogy) PWM charge controller, and feeding into a 100ah lifepo battery. Runs my fridge, charges all my devices, cordless tools, fans, and anything else I need. Excellent product. Excellent value.

I bought these panels for two reasons: The price and the size. I have actually bought 16 of these panels - 4 different times I've purchased the 4-pack of 100 watt panels. They are nearly $100 cheaper for the 4-pack today than they were when I bought the first 4-pack. As of March 18, 2023 they are $274.99 for the 4-pack of 100 watt panels and there simply isn't a better deal for new panels than that anywhere. The other thing that steered me towards these was the size. I wanted to be able to take these with me - at least a few of them - on the road if I needed to and as someone who doesn't own a truck or a van, these panels were the perfect size for being able to toss them in my car. And they are rather light weight, too, on a single panel basis at just over 13 pounds. As for the panels themselves and how they work - they work great. During a clear day, at peak sun, I will get anywhere from 97% to 102% of the rated output of the panels. In order to get that kind of output you are going to need to dial in the angle of the panels, but if you do get it right you can get the full output with these. The only "con" to these panels is that the MC4 cables are a little bit short. You have plenty of room to connect one panel to the other when they are next to each other, but compared to some other brands they are a bit shorter cables with less wiggle room for your potential set up. As noted though - you shouldn't have any issues connecting one to the other if they are next to each other. This "con" is very nitpicky, but it felt worth mentioning as not every person purchasing them will be mounting multiple panels that are touching each other. If you are in the market for 100 watt panels then I would very highly recommend these.

I bought these 12V bifacial panels. These were not actually 12V panels, they were 18V. Even the owner's manual that came with it says 100W 18V Solar Panel. I contacted the Ecoflow customer service, and this is what they told me. "Please don't worry, all our panels are 12V. The 19.4V you see is just the average voltage when the panels are working, this is the value of the voltage generated when generating power for the system you don't need to worry about. If it is a 12V system in parallel will be sufficient. Please contact me if you have any other questions. Please rest assured! 12V is not a fixed value. 18V-24.5v all means the panel is 12V. With a solar charge controller, the panel will not harm a 12V battery. As the technician explained, the panel should never be directly connected to the battery without a controller. 1. Understanding Open-Circuit Voltage (Voc): The open-circuit voltage (Voc) is the maximum voltage a panel can produce when it is not connected to a load or battery. For most 12V solar panels, the Voc is typically between 18V and 24.5V. This is because solar panels are designed to generate more voltage than the nominal battery voltage, accounting for voltage drops in the system, especially when under load or during charging. 2. Voltage Regulation via Charge Controller: The solar panel needs a charge controller (like a PWM or MPPT) designed for 12V batteries. The charge controller regulates the voltage coming from the panel, ensuring that the voltage delivered to the 12V battery remains safe and appropriate—usually around 14-14.4V for charging. 3. Why It Won’t Damage the Battery: The charge controller ensures the battery receives the proper voltage, even if the panel’s open-circuit voltage is higher. C'est la théorie, face au soleil (1H avant et 1H après ça décroit) sans nuage, atmosphère claire d'été sec. Face au soleil ça veut dire perpendiculaire, quelle que soit la saison et l'heure. A plat sur le toit d'un camping car l'hiver, ça sort 10 watts. On y peut rien, c'est normal. Donc ne pas réver. J'ai 12 panneaux, pour ma pompe de piscine, ça va l'été de 11H du mat à 15 Heures. Après c'est 1/4 de temps grâce aux batteries. Ce panneau seul ne suffit pas. Achetez en plusieurs. Un micro-ondes prend 750 watts. Donc tenant compte des pertes, il doit charger la batterie 2 heures pour cuire des patates pendant 10 minutes. Mais c'est un panneau au top pour la technologie 2018.
