It could offer a potential for evidence.They're not able to get by them being able to see things inside of a burning building. You just have to remember to turn it on before you go in. He is extremely thrilled with this item as we are also.

**Q: Anyone used this in a fire? Does it hold up?**
A: Yes, it does incredibly well. I have used it in car fires, structural fires, and also used it multiple times in the Burn Building. I have not had one issue with it.Additionally, I have read around on the internet, that Fire Cam has great customer service. So if anything does fail, there is a good chance they will rectify the issue. Hope this helps!

**Q: What kinda usb charger goes to this camera**
A: It is a custom fit USB cable  included with camera.  Also available through our Fire Cam support, 6184168390

**Q: Can this be mounted to a kevlar helmet?**
A: I don't see why it wouldn't. Its attaches to Fire helmets of all shapes and designs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tool for training

Video quality is great; low-light video could be better, but if you have a flashlight pointed in the same direction, it won't matter. The vibration and auditory beeps make it easy to identify what status the camera is in without looking at it (on/recording, standby, off). This camera is not intended for training scenarios or where prolonged exposure to high-temperatures is expected - BUT I have used it in live-fire training multiple times and it's still kickin. That being said, I do have a friend who managed to melt one of these while training, so be cognizant of the temperature and duration of exposure. Comes with two batteries, but I've used this on and off for an entire training day without needing to recharge or switch out batteries, still good to have just incase. The 16g sd card that it comes with is enough for quite a bit of recording, but if you do plan on using this for long training days, I would recommend a bigger card; Just make sure it's a class 6 or 10 memory card, according to the manual, it will not operate properly with other classes of cards. The mic location is in the back of the camera which means audio quality isn't great, it picks up the wearer's voice and anything behind pretty well but everything in front of the wearer is muffled or inaudible
