Levi's Men's 527 Slim Boot Cut Jeans

Contrary to other reviews, the jeans fit exactly as I needed them to. I'm about 5'10" / 5'11" and 165 lbs. I ordered a 33x32 and the waist was perfect. The length does feel a little long, but I like my jeans like that so it works for me. However, I wear suspenders rather then belts so if you wore a belt with these, the slightly long length wouldn't be an issue. I've only had them a short while so I can't comment on durability, but given the price of other jeans, even if they only last me a year, they'll be totally worth the price. Worth trying, especially since they have free returns.

Got these for my boyfriend for Christmas, he loves them. He is athletic and is a 32" waist but since these were 'slim' cut I got him a 33" to give him a little more room in the thighs. He says they are comfortable and he likes the look of them. I will order another pair in the Fume wash for him. They fit great over his boots but also look good with sneakers. Unless you have slim legs for your build you would be fine ordering your true waist size, but if you have muscular legs you should probably order an inch up unless you want a close fitting jean.

Perfect

My first word when I put these jeans on was “rediculous!” These “slim” jeans fit like clown pants. I ordered 34x34 and they say 34x34 on them. These jeans are HUGE. Huge waist (I’m guessing 40”). The legs are so long I can barely see my feet. I have worn Levi’s and only Levi’s for 36 years (since I was 8). I won’t be buying Levi’s any more. This is the fourth pair of Levi’s I have to return (our of 5 recent orders) because of outrageous quality control problems. Levi’s is now one of the lowest quality denim companies I know of. This leaves me in a strange position of trying to find a new brand that fits my body (34x34 slim), style and budget reliably. I’m so disappointed. It’s the end of an era.

The fit is as expected The zipper doesn't work well. It resists closing all the way. It looks as though Levi's decided to cut costs by switching over to a zipper of lesser quality than they had previously used.

Okay, so years of sports left me sizing out of most standard fit jeans. 501s are right out. 527s have a snug stylish fit in the upper leg and a bit of stretch that helps with comfort. the wider base of the jean keeps you from looking like Fall Out Boy - so no worries about being mistaken for a hipster. A bit snug in the crotchal-region so I'm pulling a star for that. Also, one of the few styles that comes in some color styles that are not pre-faded. For those that don't want brand new jeans that look like a 10 year-old thrift store find. Recommend: Give them a wash first to get the extra dye out. Otherwise, your waded up cash (savings from the awesome buy on Amazon) turns a suspicious shade of indigo. Cheers!

Schönes Material, man erkennt gleich die bessere Qualität. Sehr gut geschnitten. Macht Spaß damit. Wollte erst 33/34 nehmen, gab aber nur 32/34, sitzt wie mit 16, Scharfschützengang inkl.

Sizing difference, have a older pair of 527 jeans that fit perfectly, the new ones are a slightly looser fit. Jeans are good quality and are otherwise great.

This jean style was one of my favourites when it was available in the local mall. The 'low rise' fit doesn't make you feel like your jeans are pulled half way up your body and gives a more form fit, not just hanging there in the back or sides. The quality is very good, not made for digging in the back yard, more like a good going out pair. I will be ordering more in the future!
