They are not fried. **Q: Is the shipping packed well enough to prevent the crackers from breaking or crumbling?** A: I ordered a package of 8 and there was no box, they were shipped in a bag and all the corners of the packages were of course smashed. I never had a problem when I bought the package of 12, they were always well packaged in a box. They used to be fulfilled by Amazon, but my latest order was not.
