Provon Antimicrobial Lotion Soap - 4 Oz

I’ll be honest, I was really skeptical about this product!! But I was desperate to get rid of the relentless irritation bump near my medusa/philtrum that kept coming and going, no matter what remedy I tried. My first impression of this product was that it had a funny fragrance, which automatically put me on edge. My skin is VERY sensitive to fragrance, so I was worried about it breaking me out and not fixing the problem. It also lathers decently- not a whole lot but there are some bubbles. If that isn’t a dealbreaker to you, then disregard my opinion on that. Now, onto my real review. I used it for a week and watched as the irritation bump popped by itself and eventually go away. This happens after a week of daily use, once in the morning and once at night. I figure, “This must mean I don’t need to use this anymore!” Boy, was I wrong. The bump came back two days later and that’s where I was getting antsy and convinced it truly never was going to go away!! I gave the routine another go and the same result, the bump popped by itself and shrunk over the next few days. I don’t stop the grind and I continue to use it over the course of two weeks. By the end of those two weeks, the irritation bump was pretty much gone like it never existed! It didn’t even leave a scar considering how often it would pop and come back for MONTHS. Mind you, the bump was like a reoccurring character for my face and it hasn’t been back for a whole month as of writing this review. My advice to anyone else who is struggling with a piercing irritation bump that is pretty much evading every solution- KEEP UP THE ROUTINE! Don’t be like me and think that after a week of daily use it’s gone, IT’S NOT! 2-3 weeks of every day (and night) wash and you won’t have to deal with an annoying irritation bump ever again! Fantastic product and very gentle on the skin even for a skin as sensitive as mine.

I’ve had my nose pierced (for the second time - my first one fell out lol) for a year and a half and I’ve had a piercing bump for pretty much a year straight. I have tried every single product and at home remedy you can think of and I’ve tried even leaving it alone for months and NOTHING would make it go away. I was about to just take it out and get it pierced AGAIN once it healed when I saw this product and figured to give it a shot. In just 3 days and 6 uses, the bump is 1/3 of the size that it was and is ALMOST completely gone. I truly cannot believe how effective this product is. I wish I took before pictures so that I could do a comparison to how it looks now, but honestly I was embarrassed to take photos from the left side of my face because of the size of the bump. This product truly saved my nose piercing and I would 100000% recommend it. I have literally never left a review on a product before and needed to on this one in case someone else was in the same position as me! The package was a bit messy when I received it, but not too much product was wasted. I put a little bit of the product on a wet q-tip an carefully rub it in around the piercing, so for the size that the bottle comes in and how little you need per use, it’s definitely worth the money. The scent isn’t too strong, it’s a faint sterile smell, but it isn’t overwhelming and doesn’t bother my skin at all and I have extremely sensitive skin. Overall, this is the perfect product if you have tried every other solution for a piercing bump that won’t go away!

Read many reviews about how this product was packaged badly. I guess the seller packages it in a better/safer way now, because mine was packaged perfectly and the bottle is completely filled to the top. I have no complaints whatsoever on delivery. It was delivered in less than 48 hours. I have only used it once on my infected belly button piercing and so far the swelling and irritation has already gone down within 2 hours of use. I have a lot faith in this product from what I’ve seen so far! I will come back and write my experience after days/weeks of use (or whenever the piercing heals) So far I’m fairly happy with it 🙂 -5 days from this first comment- So I said I’d be back in “days/ weeks” or whenever my “infection heals” Well it’s been 5 days of using this and it is safe the day the infection is completely gone. NO redness. NO swelling outside Or inside of the piercing. NO tenderness even. My piercing looks perfect. The product dry out my skin. I used it morning and before bed followed by the H2Ocean spray after cleaning it with this soap. The perfect duo! I also used Neosporin to help keep anymore bad bacteria from getting into it while it’s healing and the Neosporin helped keep my skin from drying out as well. Neosporin is a cream, not an ointment, so it’s save to use on piercings. You can’t use any “ointments” on your piercings cause it will prevent your piercing from breathing and it will 100% prolong your healing process. If your piercing got infected try this out. Lotion soap (morning & night) Followed by- H2Ocean & Neosporin I hope I was able to help someone on here reading the comments as well as I spent HOURS searching the internet and YouTube trying to figure out how to get rid of the infection. SO glad I found this product 🙌 Infected piercings hurt 😪

I can't say enough good things about this soap - it's been a lifesaver for my piercings. Two of them have been extremely slow to heal (I'm talking years, where my other piercings all healed within a few months). This soap has really helped calm them down and keep any discharge or inflammation that might have otherwise flared up at bay. It also was great helping a newer piercing heal completely and quickly. Definitely recommend for that purpose. It's a fairly small bottle, so if you need to use it over a large area for a while wouldn't necessarily recommend, but for ears or limited piercings it's wonderful.

I LOVE this soap. I’m not totally sure if I’m using it for what it’s intended for, but it’s so so so gentle on my piercings and keeps them clean and healthy. No scent, doesn’t dry out the skin and after massaging my industrial piercing with it daily in the shower the irritation bump went away surprisingly fast :)

I brought because i had just gotten my ears pierced again. The product is great, I feel like it is keeping them very clean. However, it does not get very sudsy so you might need to use a little more than normal which is unfortunate because it is in a pretty small bottle. Luckily for this use, you don't need much of it. It is unscented but so it is very gentle. Overall, I think it is a great product and if I run out, I will be buying more!

This product cleared up my piercing bumps in less than 2 weeks. I've had my double helix piercing for about 6 months and have been using sea salt soaks to clean them. After about one month of piercing I developed the dreaded piecing bump on the back of both piercings. So I added tea tree oil to my cleaning routine. For 6 months my piercings were sore to the touch, throbbing, and always crusty no matter how well I cleaned it. I wanted to just take them out!! But you have to heal the wound before you remove the jewelry. So I did some research and found this. LITERALLY the first time I used this soap I could FEEL my piercing healing. It was almost as if my holes were rejoicing with relief! Lol. It's been a little less than 2 weeks. My bumps are almost invisible and there is NO MORE PAIN in my cartilage. So...naturally, I got another piercing in my tragus. I told the piercer about this product and he was shocked that sea salt soaks and tea tree Ｏｉl didn't work. He recommended that I continue using this soap for my new piercing. My tragus hasn't felt any pain or swelling since the needle went through. This soap was truly a miracle for me. (I would've added pictures but it's a little difficult to take a pic of the back of your ear lol)
