I had my doubts, since it tested positive for E.coli, at exactly the time the instructions said it would, if positive.Be aware that the time frame is very important to follow for this type of testing. After the test came positive, I had to do a water test from a local lab, and they confirmed the presence of e.coli. I'm glad I did this previous test . If you suspect your water may be contaminated this is a great first step to rule out bacteria or E.coli.
