It was a bit challenging to put together but that's because it is so sturdy. No equipment is needed but it was easier with two people! I was so pleased with this, I have used others that were similar that didn't stay together well but this one is SO strong, I am really happy and it is such a simple & clean look, I much prefer this to plastic.
