Celsius max temp, Threebond 1215 is also grey in color and has 250deg Celcius max temp...I believe Threebond makes the Yamabond 3 , it just gets private labeled...I use Yamabond 3/Threebond 1215 on all my engine cases since the 70s, works great...the Threebond brand may have a cost savings when compared to yamabond 3...both are kinda gooey to work, a Popsicle stick may help you spread it on mating surfaces prior to assembly...a little goes a long way...hth **Q: Can I use on crank case on dirt bike.** A: I used the product on my Yamaha golf cart engine.
