Smart home systems can be clunky and difficult to use, but the SwitchBot ones are great. They work well straight out of the box. There is enough customisation available in the app so you can do what you want, without it being too technical and overly complicated. Would recommend.

These sensors are exellent, just take your time to find the optimum position for each sensor, precence works very well as does the motion, i have three set up, and these are then controled by home assistant, the one on the front door turns on a porch light when the door is open and I am entering the house after sunset, and the sensor will turn on the prch and hallway when leaving and both turn off a a predefined time after. The other two I just use as sensors one on the landing to turn on a light if I am going up or down the stairs after sunset and before sunrise. I've had them a few months now and they work floorlessly. Brilliant

I recently purchased the door lock that came with the Hub Mini, along with a Switch Bot device. I was impressed with the brand and decided to purchase two external temperature sensors. 1 for my refrigerator and a second for my bathroom. I noticed these on offer, so purchased four additional sensors to add to my Apple Home via Matter. However, I discovered that there is a device limit for the Hub Mini. This means that I would need to purchase another Hub. btw. I attempted to remove the temperature sensors from the Hub Mini, as per the support document, but the Hub Mini informed me that the sensor wire must be connected. I am unsure what this means, so I am unable to add any more devices. Apparently, the device limit is eight, but I am only able to add the four, I already purchased 4 so hit my limit. The Matter support is misleading. The whole purpose of Matter is to eliminate the need for multiple hubs for different devices.so Its unfortunate, as I had the Black Vacuum Bot in my wish list waiting for updates for HomeKi and to be back in stock. I also been waiting months for the black remote to also be back in stock. but tbh I am unwilling to purchase another Hub, as I already have way too many. and one more is a deal breaker. Great brand, great products, and removed 1 star as the actual devices look and feel premium and great features that was looking forward to use. but the device limit made me return them. but if anyone had the larger hub already then these are amazing products as very good features at way less than other brands. i recommend this product even though I returned. as its my choice not to purchase another hub.

SwitchBot have done something special here, a contact sensor that not only does brilliantly at it's job of detecting if a door/window/something else is open or closed, but by adding in a motion sensor it opens up so much more potential for home automations which work flawlessly in Home Assistant. Oh and there's a button as well I've had other contact sensors that work well but then lose connectivity or require repairing every so often, these have never had that problem and as a big bonus use easy to get hold of sized batteries (2x AAA). I'm slowly going about and replacing my other contact sensors with these as they are such an improvement from what I used to use.

Switchbot's Contact sensor is useful in many situations. It's easy to install and the Switchbot app provides settings for it to be used on a door or a cupboard. I even have one attached to a cat flap! Battery life is good and, as well as linking to the Switchbot app, I have also connected the contact sensor to the Samsung Smartthings app which allows me to control non-Switchbit bulbs via the sensor. The sensor also includes a small motion sensor which allows you to determine if visitors are leaving or arriving alongside a light sensor. I have found that notifications via the Switchbot app can be delayed (despite disabling battery optimisation etc) but they come through instantly via Smartthings. I have purchased contact sensors from other manufacturers in the past but this is the most versatile by far.

Seeing as ive been a newcommer to switchbot items, ive been more than happy with theor products thus far. Im trying to get my smarthome over to as few ecosystems as possible. Plus im quite new to smarthome stuff! These door contact switches are a great start for me as they contain more than one function, not just about knowing your door is open or shut, but also a motion sensor built in. Also, this item couldnt be easier to install into postion or set up in the app. This will go a long way to improving automations even further. Switchbot, you've done great, im converted!!

Exactly what you'd expect from SwitchBot. Great build quality, more features than you'd expect for the price and a wide range of compatibility for the main smart home ecosystems. I'm using it with Apple Home via the SwitchBot Hub 2's Matter integration, so far, no performance issues.

Having used this companies original ‘SwitchBots,’ a product I think is excellent, I assumed their door sensors would be superior to the cheap ones I’ve been testing on my door (high battery usage, slow response, but do work). I’d love to tell you how great a product this is, especially as I’m so happy with the original‘SwitchBot.” Love to, but I’d be lying. 2 days in to getting this to work, I’ve moved the sensor and main unit multiple times as I’m getting multiple alerts to my door being open when it’s closed. I’ve currently got the two parts next to me, reading as door closed, the magnetic bit literally stuck to the main unit by its own magnetism, and I get an alert telling me the door has been left open with the two parts untouched for almost an hour. The app confirms the open status. I’ve got another three of these units and unless the next one does better I’ll be looking to return everything. Awful product, especially considering how great their SwitchBots are.

Por ejemplo, al abrir la puerta del armario, se enciende automáticamente una luz SwitchBot Bulb. ¡Las posibilidades son muchas! La duración de la batería ha sido excelente hasta ahora. J'utilise ce capteur de contact en corrélation avec le bot (doigt mécanique) du même fabricant pour automatiser l'ouverture et fermeture de la porte de garage pour ma tondeuse robot Mova et c'est vraiment très fiable. Il faut cependant créer une boite afin que le bot soit bien maintenu pour activer le bouton de la télécommande de la porte du garage.

spend hours trying to connect it to Alexa or smart life app but it fails..its only connects to smartbot app and can't access it outside this app...after alot of search i find out you need to buy another device (hub) to be able to connect to third party assistant like Alexa. Seller should mention that on description. Usless. Im returning it back
