When fitting it, try to push the top part of the connector a bit more ahead, needs to be tightened VERY well. Then I used 2 rubbers instead of one and stacked them on top of each other, it worked. My 10mm hose was quite tight so had to make a slight incision. I would recommend a hose with an inner diameter of 12-14 mm.
