Does What I Wanted It To Do
I have cross ventilation but it doesn't work the way I want it to. In hot weather, I often have a hot air mass build up in the kitchen from the gas stove, which makes the fridge run more and kick off more heat. Then that tries to move all over the place and suddenly, it's 85degrees in the bedroom. Until now, I was only able to subdue it with a "consumer strength" stand fan and have hot air mass in kitchen, bath and linen closet areas. My velocity floor fan would do the job but it was needed on the other end of my space and I wanted something off the floor. I wanted air moving, not dust and anything else a floor fan grabs. (You need to be careful to move anything that could get yanked into the blades while running this, like cloth, plastic bags, etc) I was looking for a velocity stand fan that would move air from my bedroom down the hallway, going by bath, linen closet and kitchen areas, but having it tuck in to those smaller rooms, and still get to the foyer, about 30-35 feet in a straight line. There, it encounters moving air from the velocity floor fan I have on a table. The result is fresh air everywhere! The Hurricane does it, even on medium! It's taller than the Vornadoes and I think the black and silver industrial design is attractive. It seems sturdy. It is great now, when it's just humid. But it will be even better when I'm running the AC. It, like the other velocity fan, is louder than a regular fan but not terrible. It's on the same circuit but does not blow the fuse for the AC. I hope it's easy on the electric. Haven't gotten the bill yet and this fan will be running a lot.

Amazing Well Made/powerful Pedestal fan
Bought this strictly for the bedroom. Box fans are decent but having a pedestal fan with 3 powerful settings put this over the top. It extends high enough so the wind blows down on you. Totally impressed with it. Noise level equals the same as a box fan. I'm one that having fan noise and huge amounts of airflow puts me in a deep state of sleep. At night I only use the low level speed. (strong enough) It's shipped in a well packed box with only 3 parts to assemble. Assembly is less then 10 minutes and only need a Phillips Head screwdriver. Not going to lie.............loved it so much, 5 minutes later I purchased another for my wife's side. Hope the company reads these reviews because I placed my order for the second one Friday. Said Monday was the delivery date but I actually got it the next day on Saturday. Sure it was shipped out Next day Air but they didn't have to do that. Totally impressed from start to finish. Its a mini well built Industrial type fan that looks great in the master bedroom. Definitely recommended.

Great Fan
This fan is strong and very sturdy. It's heavy and a bit loud but you're not going to get a quiet fan that blows this much air. We love it. I originally bought it for my basement, it gets damp in the summer but after turning it on we decided to keep it in our kitchen and are buying another on for downstairs.

Good product after I made minor repairs.
Does the job for my garage. Assembly was easy enough, but it was missing the knob (or nut?) that keeps the tilt adjustment secure. The instructions made no mention of it, nor was it shown in the pictorials. However, if you look closely at the front cover photo, through the grille, you can see what looks to be a second adjustment knob on the opposite side of the one shown. The bolt was there, exposed threads, obvious something was missing!. The tilt adjustment would not hold without the bolt being secure. I looked at another brand of a similar fan that I own, and there was a striking resemblance of what should be there. The addition of a nut (metric) and lock washer solved the problem. Also, I checked the tightness of the grille guard screws, both front and back, found several of them loose. And, when assembling the base, there are the four bolts that secure the upright, and also four bolts that secure the base weight -- already installed, but found to be loose. Make sure all eight are secure, After all that, the fan works great. I found it to be noisy, even on the lowest speed, but OK in my garage. It moves plenty of air. You should know that this fan is a power hog -- draws 100 watts on low, about 135 watts on high. (Better than double what a fan for household use would draw?)

Powerful Fan
Replaced a plastic fan with this, the plastic blades practically flattened out over time until it pushed hardly any air at all. This fan is all metal, and the air it pushes is quite impressive. I'm using it to circulate air in large master bathroom to help control moisture & balance temperatures. The fan does generate a lot of wind noise, but that is to be expected considering the volume & velocity of air it pushes. We use fan noise to assist sleeping (helps drown out random outside noises like barking dogs, vehicle noises, etc) and this fan is perfect. This is a very solid-feeling fan, heavy and well balanced and with a very thick power cord. I would not be surprised if this thing lasts 20 years. The let-down: the fan head is set on an adjustable knuckle, with the obviously engineered purpose of allowing you to angle the unit up or down, using the thumb screws to lock into place. The power cord however blocks this adjustment, not allowing you to adjust the fan to point UP more than say, 8 degrees, which is practically not worth the adjustment hassle at all.

Great fan with some power
This fan was purchased for our outdoor lanai space. It is quiet and has some power. It was easy to assemble and was of good quality for the price.

Defective item
Update: customer service responded to my message shortly after I submitted the review below and provided a full refund. I appreciate their willingness to stand by their word and make things right. This fan was incredibly loud and sounded like a freight train. We live in a very hot and humid state and have several of these fans from various brands. I know they generally arenโt super quiet but they are also not so loud that you canโt hear someone when they are standing next to you in the same room which is how loud this particular fan was. After requesting a return through Amazon, I was contacted by the seller (Spreetail) with an offer to keep the fan for a discounted price. I was initially considering their offer to avoid the hassle of returning it but then the blade broke off while in use the same day. I chatted with their customer service and provided a photo of the broken fan (the exact photo I sent them is included with this review). I was told I would be given a full refund. They also offered to send a brand new fan at no cost but I declined. So I shipped the broken fan back last week and just got a notification today stating they are only giving me a partial refund because the item was returned damaged. I responded to their message asking them to make it right but have not gotten a response.

Quality Oscillating Fan, Ease of assembly
I purchased two fans to compliment the dehumidifier in my large basement. The quality is evident when the fan is unpacked from the box and assembly is easy using directions but not needed for multiple fan assembly. Fans are heavy for carrying a distance but the weight adds to the sturdiness once in place for use. The Oscillating movement is expansive with no strain. The multiple fan blade movement won't disappoint for air flow and speed. The fans have been running continuously for 24 hrs, no squealing or noises heard. The delivery was early. Packing was very good with no damage upon arrival to content. Pricing for the quality and performance of both fans is money well spent for my needs in getting my monies worth. I recommend.

Very powerful but very loud
This thing blows! Hard lol, it almost blows itself over it's impressively powerful. I have it for drying hockey gear and damn, it works great. Thought, it is as loud as a helicopter lol lots of air = noise, so no stars off for that.

Not quiet, but excellent.
This fan is a large beast. The slow setting is not quiet, at all. It's a noise maker, and even on the slowest setting, it'll blow your newspapers everywhere. It's not what I had in mind when I ordered it, but I'll keep it, since it can blow a gust who knows how far? (Easily 30 feet, I'm guessing.) It gets points for having mostly metal construction (you should still be gentle with it) and it looks good. If you're boiling hot and trying to sleep, I don't think the noise would be too much of an issue, if the fan is on from across a large room.

Definitely high velocity
This product pushes a ton of air and is quiet, considering the volume of air it circulates. We use it in outdoor deck sun structure area and it is perfect. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

No worth the money
This fan only lasted one year the shaft was banging and moving forward and back with a banging noise. What a waste of money. I used this in my house few times not happy. Won't recommend this fan.
