On the other hand, the texturing is uniform across the whole surface, which can dispel the illusion of age and distress if the sign is viewed at a low angle of incidence where light can reflect off of the "rusted" parts. This hasn't been an issue for me and would really only come up if the sign were hung near and perpendicular to a window or side light. Physically, the sheet metal is of a heavy enough gauge to prevent all but the most subtle bending if the sign is supported from the bottom (due to space constraints in my cube, it worked better the support it from cube wall hooks than to hang it), and it's not so heavy as to make it difficult to support on a fabric cube wall.
