The titanium pommel will screw off allowing the handle to be removed, revealing a 9 1/4" full tang titanium blade that can be hafted into an emergency spear. Sharp, to the point. Great knife! You won't be disappointed. Sincerely Miguel Review: Great dive knife. - Went diving this weekend and got to put this knife to use. It weights about half of what my other stainless dive knife weights but feels so much better to handle. The release is very easy to use and is a one handed operation. The disassembly is very nice as well. And the factory edge is razor blade sharp. My buddy snuck it out of my bag when heading out to cut some paracord and learned a valuable lesson. When we hit our mark the captain throttled back and he slipped forward and dropped the knife point down on his ankle. The tip stuck bone and he was spitting blood like a water fountain. Luckily it was a small hole that closed up after about 30 mins and some pressure. This knife is not your average pocket knife and shouldnt be used that way, let alone while heading out in choppy seas. There is plenty of rubber strap on top and the bottom. Did I mention this is a very sharp knife. Has a unique lock and hold built into the sheath also a a easy release button. The handle fits my large hand just fine. My wife's hand which is smaller and she she likes the grip better than her set-up.
