Review: Very satisfied..... Great product!!! - We bought this product about a week and a half ago. We only received the large basket, not the two smaller ones. Like others have stated the magnetic cord is short but for us we have an accessable outlet on our counter. Once filled with oil you shouldn't be moving the unit around anyway so the magnetic hookup should not be a problem, it wasn't for us. We filled the oil to the max. fill line which took just a little over a gallon. We used Wal-Mart good value vegetable oil, about $2.25 a gallon and it worked perfectly. You don't need to spend a fortune on those specialty oils. It took about 10 minutes to reach max. temp and we were ready. My wife had just got a large amount of fresh oakra. She cut and breaded it and filled the basket full. That was a lot of oakra. It cooked between 15 and 20 minutes and was done. We used the hook and let it drain a minute or so and poured it in a large bowl lined with paper towels. The oakra was done perfectly, all of it. It was crisp and not oily or greasy. To my surprise when finished with the bowl, the paper towels were barely damp with oil. We've since fried shrimp and fish fillets, the same good results. Of course your choice of breading reflects taste. Next up is going to be chicken with a KFC breading mix she got on Facebook. Clean up was a breeze, just washed it and let it dry. Didn't notice any real residue on the counter top, cooked with the lid on of course. We will reuse oil based on product cooked and breading used but as mentioned above, new oil everytime would be reasonable. I know everybody is different but just use commen sense when cooking with very hot oil and safety should not be a problem. This unit is a household item and not built to military standards. It is light weight and easily moved and stored. Saved the packageing initially just in case something was bad but it's been thrown away now. I think this unit will be extremely useful for a lot of people. Very, Very satisfied. Been using this unit for a few months now and still the great results. Just don't over fill the unit. Maximum fill line has been perfect for us!!!

**Q: how is the clean up.  can u take the container that hold the oit out to strain and store left over oit**
A: Personally, I don't understand all the complaints about cleaning this unit. I have a sensitive nose when it comes to rancid oil so I like to refrigerate my oil in between uses and I find this fryer very easy to empty and clean. The top comes off easily up to the halfway open position. The carbon filter cover comes right off the lid and the carbon filter just lifts out. I rinse those top three pieces in hot water and then soak them in hot soapy water for about 10 minutes while the bottom part of the unit is cooling. I wait until the appliance itself is no longer hot to the touch and then pour the oil into an oil keeper with a filter screen (Aulett Home B077D7RDJV) so the oil stays clean. The oil stays in the pour groove on the corner of the deep fryer while pouring into my oil keeper; I have had no problems with drips whatsoever. I then wash my oil keeper screen and store it separately from the oil keeper. If I don't think I'll be using the oil again soon I may then empty the completely cooled oil from the oil keeper into a sealable container like Tupperware or Lock-n-Lock just to make sure I have no spills in the fridge. But the unit is so easy to clean since it is non-stick. I put a little detergent inside the cooker with some hot water and wipe the inside with my soapy dishcloth and then rinse the unit out being careful not to get water on the plug or dial. The unit isn't immersible but, honestly, I'm not so uncoordinated that I can't rinse it without getting the entire outside of the unit wet. (The unit is so small and lightweight so it is easy to handle.) I then wipe the outside with my soapy cloth if any oil has dripped but, like I said, I haven't found drips to be a problem. Then I dry the whole thing to keep it looking new. The entire process takes less than 5 to 10 minutes and is no harder to clean then if I was using a frying pan or dutch oven on the stovetop. To me it is worth it to have deep fried food. I am a scaredy cat when it comes to frying on the stove. This unit takes the fear out of frying for me. And let's face it, there is nothing like french fries fried in a deep fat fryer. I'm looking forward to frying breaded tilapia for fish tacos and tempura sweet potatoes. I'll write a full review after I have fried more than just french fries.

**Q: How do you remove the oil for cleaning?  Is there a removable container that holds the oil?**
A: I wait until unit is cool about 2 hours  ,remove the lid which slides right off,and pour into a small coffee can using a strainer until filled.  Or I use a small, ceramic cheese container {about 18 ozs.} and leave on my counter. I found the decorative container at a flea market for 50 cents and it works great!  Typically, I use my deep fryer about once a week and it is very easy to clean.

**Q: My doesn’t heat since the first time. the lights is always green and the oil is cold. how can i do it? or it’s broken?**
A: Underneath the timer on the left side is a reset button.  If it's sticking out push it in with a nail, skewer, etc.   It says reset on the heating element plastic.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best deep frier I've used

Temp control lets you set the correct temperature for each food, from barely bubble to smokin' hot. Stainless steel makes for easy cleaning and the lift-out oil reservoir lets you save the oil after cooking your fries and okra. We prepare a lot of fish and chicken and the heating element keeps the oil hot from batch to batch. The deep frier is a good size and I like the way the basket sits in the oil and then can be raised to drain the food. I knocked off one star because this is my second Cuisinart cooker because the heating element failed on the first one after a year. It worked so well that straight away I ordered the same unit again. I hope this isn't an issue with this one. I recommend this product for its ease of use and the superior way it heats the oil. If a year from now this one fails I will probably buy another.
