These safety razors do their job well and it is easy to use, ergonomic, has lasted, and so forth. Hence the 5-star review. That being said, for those who intend to purchase this safety razor for frequent use and not because some safety and/or management person unfamiliar/inexperienced with sharp tools recommended this - please consider the idiom in the title. While this safety razor is similarly easy it use, it certainly does not make using it easier or simpler (~= not safer?) and can be inconvenient. For example, the rounded tips included with the safety razor are more difficult to work with as they do not cut/puncture as well as pointed razors. Thusly, they are more difficult to work with and arguably unsafer.

**Q: Does this come with a safety sheath or holster so it doesn't just hang loose?**
A: Nova Squeeze Trigger Box Cutter does not have a safety sheath and holster, but it has a safety lock function. It would be safety at your pocket and tool bag when you lock the knife.

**Q: How do you change the blade??? Pressing the blue button doesn't allow the blade to come free and be changed. .**
A: 1. Switch the blade adjustment button to full length position (Highest)
2. Sqeeze the trigger and hold it.  (Must hold the trigger until blade is changed)
3. Press the blade change button and pull the old blade out
4. Change the blade
5. Make sure the new blade is securely locked to position before releasing the trigger.

**Q: Does this knife use standard utility knife blades?**
A: Nova Squeeze Trigger Knife uses standard utility blades. You also can use Nova Round Point Utility Knife Blades, Nova blades made by high quality SK5 carbon steel for strength and durability.

**Q: Can it be locked in open position too?**
A: Nova Squeeze knife is a safety knife with self-retracting protection.
So, user may not lock the blade out in open position. Everytime user release the trigger, the blade will retract back.
But the button can control the blade length.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My favorite box cutter of all time

This safety cutter is exactly what I was looking for. Very quick and easy to use without the worry of not retracting the blade and cutting into my hands, fingers and pocket. I’ve used different types of safety cutters but they were not as nice compared to the quality and features of this cutter. I can adjust the blade to three positions and the shortest length dose not accidentally cut into the product inside the box avoiding damage to packaging and merchandise. I usually lose my box cutters for some reason so I will be purchasing another as backup. I do recommend this to anyone working with any type of packaging. This safety cutter saves me precious time. Do your research and compare your other choices to this one I think you’ll find this safety cutter will come out on top.
