Yes but you will need an adapter as this cable uses a 9 pin miniDIN instead of the model 1's 8 pin DIN. This cable will not provide the best video quality but it will be better than RF. For the best video quality that looks just like an emulator, you will need a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive model 1 RGB SCART cable and a SCART to Component or HDMI converter.

We cannot guarantee it working for anything but the Genesis 2.
