Many are just too large. I have a thin back case on the phone. This case fits it snugly but holds it well. One thing not mentioned in the info is that this case has a small additional slot on the inside which can hold a few credit cards or in my case I use it to carry thinoptics reading glasses. This makes it quite convenient to have a set of reading glasses with you at all times. Since the case has both belt loops and a clip, I have bought an additional one. I will use one with the belt loop on jeans and not take that off. I have flipped the phone off of a clip and into the lake, so no more of that! The other will be used on the clip when having to wear more dressy clothes. Easy off, easy on. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not As Good As The Original *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2018* Purchased this for my iPhone 8 Plus with the Speck Products Presidio Grip Case. Fit was perfect and quality was fine.Since I've had a similar one for my iPhone 6s I found out I needed to use both belt loops and clip. Otherwise the clip will loosen within a couple weeks. Since the iPhone 8 Plus is so large I did end up catching one edge and ripping out one of the loops, however the case still holds great one clip remains tight. The loops do not appear to be stitched as well as my previous case.Update: contrary to the one I purchased for my 6s which lasted over a year with very hard use, this one is already deteriorating at the seams and magnetic catch.Since purchasing my iPhone 8 Plus and this case I know longer do the same work of carrying items up and down ladders all day, constantly hitting the case. I never had anything close to this wear but I did tear a loop which is understandable. I basically sit and do graphics all day so it’s quite surprising to see this amount of wear.The leather like material is wearing through to the liner in less than three months. (Photos enclosed.)I have purchased this again only because I have yet to find a similar one for a thin case that is not huge on my phone. ### ⭐ Great holster but AWFUL quality! *by P***T on Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2018* Great holster but AWFUL quality! Be forewarned! The spring clip that goes over the belt is NOT securely attached to the holster. It’s only held in place by thin, lightly stitched material. When attaching to or removing from the belt, the floating spring clip is twisted and pulled away from the holster. Ultimately, the material tears significantly, the clip remains on your belt, and the holster with phone falls to the floor. The included belt loops do offer added security but threading a belt through your first pants belt loop, then one holster loop, the spring clip, and finally the last holster loop is painful. Plus, the very high drag factor while pulling the belt through the holster clip and loops is aggravating to say the least. If the spring clip wasn’t so strong and/or was connected solidly to a solid internal frame, tearing would not be a factor and it would be a much better product. Lastly, there is another example of the shoddy quality. The edges of the black begin fraying very quickly and show a white color from underneath. Also, I ordered a second, nearly identical one with a different ‘name’ to try, hoping it would be much better, It looked 98% like this one, worked exactly like it, and soon exhibited the SAME exact problems, tearing and all. Even the stitching on it looked the same. It only had a different logo. Beware. Someone seems to be pumping these out (from China?) under different names and listing them for sale on Amazon. So sad. It could be corrected and made into a nice product for only a few dollars more - and it would last several years instead of six months or less.
