what is the tension weight on each?

I cant give you the exact weight but I can tell you I bought the Light weight for right now with the hopes of moving up to the medium weight.

is this product noisey - i have older ones that if i use at work sounds like bed springs

Not noisy at all! I usually do my grip exercises while I'm watching tv. My dog perks her ears up and stares at me or even leaves the couch while I use other grip exercisers, but not with the Grip Master Pro. I use the XX-Heavy Tension so I would imagine a looser/easier spring would be just as quiet. I hope this helps!

Are you suppose to grip it like in the picture shown? To me it feels awkward to press with the tips of your finger as opposed to letting it overlap...

Gripping with the tips (pressing) of your fingers strengthens your fingers better than if you lay your finger across the plungers I think. But you can use it any way you'd like. I do a series of reps fingertip/trigger style/double and even switch it around for my thumb. The more you use it, the easier it is to use it various ways.

does this device help with carpal tunnel?

I used it to rehab my hand after having carpal tunnel release. I would say it is minimally helpful at best if you have carpal tunnel syndrome.

Très bon grip pour travailler en isolation les doigts. Utilisé pour de la rééducation je me suis tourné sur du Xlight et liht. Après ça devient assez dur. Petit bémol, il est assez grand et pour les petites mains ce n'est pas idéal. Il existe une version plus orientée rééducation (que je n'avais pas vue) et qui est un peu moins volumineuse (forme un peu différente).

Resulta cómodo a la hora de sujetarlo y hacer presión con los dedos o mano. Las zonas negras son antideslizante, así que se agarra muy bien. El hecho de que disponga de cuatro teclas pequeñas a un lado y una grande al otro permite ejercitar dedos de manera independiente, pero a su vez se puede usar como el clásico fortalecedor de manos, así que es una herramienta muy completa. Este modelo de resistencia media tiene resistencia suficiente para ejercitar los dedos o mano con lo que considero un esfuerzo normal. Si se tiene poca fuerza o menos de la normal, lo recomendable sería el otro modelo de resistencia baja y si se es una persona fuerte, lo ideal sería el otro de resistencia alta. Personalmente, me ha encantado.

great if you are rehabbing or starting off rock climbing. Take it from somonme who keeps buying these, buy the heaviest tension one you can find right off the bat. I have a medium and xheavy and you need get adjusted very quickly and are ready to go up.
