Measuring over 10 inches long, this vintage-style model replicates the iconic starship from the cult TV series with authentic detail, requiring painting and assembly to complete a stunning collectible. ## Description Product Description The true origin of the Space:1999 Hawk starship is a bit of a mystery, but it was fully intended to be a formidable weapon. In its first appearance in the episode, War Games, a squadron of ships decimated Moonbase Alpha’s fleet of Eagle Transporters. The ship design is reminiscent of the Eagle. The ships shared the same production designer, Brian Johnson. The Hawk, however, was a sleeker design that was unencumbered by the need to serve in utilitarian roles. This ALL NEW kit of the starship features authentic detail and is based on the original filming miniature used in the production of the television program. Requires assembly and painting (sold separately) Set Contains: 1 x Model Kit Review: It's good - Space 1999 kit, brilliant Review: rare - I haven`t seen this model since I was a kid , looking forward to building it . ## Features - 1:72 Scale - Skill Level: 2 (Age 10+) - Measures over 10” long ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07FH6SHDC | | Additional Features | [POSSIBLE] Premium quality materials, Detailed instructions, Unique design elements | | Age Range Description | 14+ | | Age range (description) | 14+ | | Art Craft Kit Type | Model Building | | Brand | MPC | | Brand Name | MPC | | Color | Multicolor | | Colour | Multicolor | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 320 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00849398020357 | | Included Components | MPC - Space: 1999 Hawk Mk IX, 1:72 (MPC881) | | Item Dimensions | 25.4 x 7.6 x 7.6 centimeters | | Item Type Name | MPC 1:72 Space:1999 Hawk Mk.IX | | Item Weight | 0.31 Kilograms | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 25.4 x 7.6 x 7.6 centimeters | | Manufacturer | MPC | | Manufacturer Part Number | MPC881 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | MPC - Space: 1999 Hawk Mk IX, 1:72 (MPC881) | | Model Number | MPC881 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 60 | | Paint Type | Acrylic | | Product Style | Vintage | | Scale | 1:72 | | Seasons | All Seasons | | Set Name | MPC 1:72 Space:1999 Hawk Mk.IX | | Size | 1:72 | | Subject Character | Hawk | | Theme | Vehicle | | UPC | 849398020357 | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** 14+ - **Brand:** MPC - **Colour:** Multicolor - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 25.4 x 7.6 x 7.6 centimeters - **Theme:** Vehicle ## Images ![MPC MPC881 1:72 Space:1999 Hawk Mk.IX - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71qI9f7Zp+L.jpg) ![MPC MPC881 1:72 Space:1999 Hawk Mk.IX - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81C9InvnLuL.jpg) ![MPC MPC881 1:72 Space:1999 Hawk Mk.IX - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71G8vxYLVbL.jpg) ![MPC MPC881 1:72 Space:1999 Hawk Mk.IX - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71QyYMOH5JL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's good *by N***L on 20 October 2025* Space 1999 kit, brilliant ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rare *by P***Y on 8 March 2023* I haven`t seen this model since I was a kid , looking forward to building it . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A nice kit. *by F***S on 30 December 2020* A nice kit, generally well moulded but a few of the things struts broke when being removed from the sprue and needed to be remade.
