SLC 1/4" Eyelet Setter with Anvil

Used this tool to set some eyelets for a kydex gun holster. Worked out extremely well. A lot cheaper than buying a big press or something and it did a good job. Wasn't that difficult to do either.

If you have the slightest ability to work with tools you can use this easily,I use the flat side. Hit it straight down then to finish it pound in a circular motion. Ruined first two but after that got it going perfect

Anvil is NOT shaped for 1/4 kydex eyelets and setter only barely fits and does not produce the same round as the factory side. DO NOT USE TO SET KYDEX RIVETS. I have bought 2 of differing sizes and both came the same size: too big. Eyelets got crushed on the factory side because the anvil was not shaped correctly. Thought it was a one-off fluke, but the others have been the same. IF YOU WANT TO SET KYDEX EYELETS USE THE 50$ PRESS SETTER KIT HERE ON AMAZON, NOT THIS DISAPPOINTMENT. Useless. 1 star.

This setter is ok in a bind but if you don't have it perfectly aligned it will not make a quality eyelet. I use mine in kydex and there isn't much give in the material. This may work better for leather.

Works great to put rivets in a custom kydex knife sheath

Held up to the job at hand. No issues. Performed well. Good weight.

This is a horrible eyelet setter. I was hoping this would be a cheap fix to get my knife sheath done but it just made things worse. The eyelets set sideways which makes the holes useless. WASTE OF MONEY!
