Let's get that out of the way right now. Once the stock chinese tubes in my Jolida amplifier died, I replaced with these. Came highly recommended based on audiophile reviews of my particular setup - google your own amplifier and see what folks say sounds good! Lower noise floor, way better resolution on the audio and that wonderful warm tube sound. Sounds like Mark Knopfler is right in my living room. No joke, records sound like a live performance. I wish I could go back in time to replace the stock tubes sooner. My biggest issue is that my amplifier now sounds so good that I can't tell when it's too loud - all the harsh sounds at higher volumes are gone!!! May look at replacing the tubes in my Vox AC15 with these, they'd really bring out that classic british tube sound. But after upgrading the mullards in a previous amp with dynamic results I made the switch.
