The mechanical switch mount holes (or mounts) was so out of spec that switches wouldn't lock in place. At first I thought that I was using budget switches (Ajazz Clear Blue Tactiles) but when I swapped different switches (Akko Cream Yellow V3, Kaihl Silver Speed and Tecsee Carrot switches) they would just not lock in properly. Whenever I swap out keycaps or switches they would just yank without decent force applied, heck I can even pull them out by hand without effort. And yes I tried mounting them with the other plates like the stock aluminum and brass plate and the switches fit nicely. And the worst part of it all, I tested the polycarbonate plate on my GMMK long after 14-day return period so that's a complete loss. I don't know if I received a bad unit but just beware. I expected more from Glorious. What a shame. Review: I already have the flex kit for my GMMK Pro but kept the AL plate. It sounded better and definitely added some flex. However this PC plate is a game changer on sound and flex (assuming you have the kit as well). Not only did it allow for significantly more flex once installed but the sound is not only louder, no cases form needed, but VERY deep and thocky with the same switches. The new plate just got here today and I had the time so I thought I would install, immediately logged in to write this review and share. If you love your GMMK Pro but aren't happy with the sound, order this and you won't be disappointed in the least. New plate also comes with screws but I used the ones I had as they were still good and just saved the ones included. I have a number of boards, some thocky, some creamy and some poppy. This is my primary when I need an F row and I was good with the sound but it just wasn't what I truly wanted until now.
